How personal information is handled on this website.
This policy explains how Private Chef Experience by Arnis Ansons ("I", "me") processes personal data when you use this website or send an enquiry. Contact: hello@arnisansons.com, +47 901 99 530.
What I collect
When you send an enquiry, I receive the details you enter in the form, such as your name, email address, phone number, event date, location, number of guests, budget and message. I only ask for information that is relevant to your request.
Why I use it
Your information is used to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, if you book, deliver the agreed service. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and fulfilling that agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
Who receives it
Your details are not sold or shared for marketing. They are processed by the service providers that run this website and my email (acting as data processors), and shared with others only when necessary to deliver your event, such as waiting staff, or when required by law.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted when they're no longer needed, and normally within 12 months. Information related to bookings is kept as long as required by Norwegian accounting law.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Email me to make a request. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Visit notifications
On your first visit you are asked whether I may see roughly where visitors come from. Only if you choose "Accept", your browser looks up your approximate city, region and country from your IP address using the service GeoJS (get.geojs.io). That location, the page you arrived on, the website that sent you, your device type and your browser language are then sent to me through Wix, once per visit, so I know someone is visiting. Your IP address is not stored or sent to me. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). If you choose "No thanks", nothing is looked up or sent. Your choice is saved in your browser; to change it, clear the site data for arnisansons.com in your browser. Visit notifications are deleted within 12 months.
Cookies and external content
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your answer to the visit notice is stored in your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and images from Wix's image service, which means your browser connects to those services. Links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Google and Skool take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version is always published on this page.
